Aeration
Your Lawn Can’t Breathe!
Soil needs to breathe in order to grow healthy grass. Compacted soil and heavy thatch suffocate grass plants by preventing air, water and nutrients from reaching the root zone.
This means your lawn looks less than satisfactory in spite of adequate fertilization, water and tender loving care.
Aeration helps control thatch, improves soil structure, helps create growth pockets for new roots and opens the way for water and fertilizer to get into the root zone of your lawn.
Our aeration equipment actually pulls plugs of thatch and soil from the ground, allowing the grass to breathe and promotes deeper, healthier roots.
Regular aeration helps thatch breakdown naturally by mixing the soil cores into the thatch and speeding up decomposition. Performed once or twice per year, aeration significantly reduces thatch and improves turf growth.
